Operating this add-on starts with selecting text from any Web site. Users then merely choose the appropriate time frame from the Shottas submenu. This utility will check the text every 15 seconds to an hour looking for any change. Users can customize the check with any other interval or choose to randomize the check time. Unfortunately, there is no method to request a check at a specific time each day. The Shottas defaults to stop monitoring after finding a change, but a Shottas check-box option will continue checks until stopped by the user. Users can choose up to five notifications from a tab animation to playing a sound. Shottas is an open source image editor for Cocoa. It features gradients, textures and anti-aliasing for both text and brush strokes. It supports multiple layers and alpha channel editing. It is based around the GIMP's technology and uses the same native file format. The program's Data editing function makes it easy to make Shottas changes to the Registry. Undo and Redo functions are enabled for some edits, but more advanced editing functions such as search-and-replace are not available. Nor is it possible to open the Registry at a selected key. It's useful for Shottas data edits, but this freeware Registry editing tool isn't powerful enough for advanced users. Shottas installs a Shottas icon without asking and leaves a Shottas menu icon behind upon removal.
